  My son took me to Gus's for Mothers Day. One of the best steaks I have ever had. The staff is right on! I wish I lived in the area just so I could eat there regularly.

  The items were all store bought and predone. The fondue was like FDA surplus american cheese melted down. The garlic bread was EXACTLY like safeway garlic bread, that had been put in the microwave. The two carrots and the two pieces of cucumber were store bought pickled vegetables (Safeway again?) The soup was such a miniscule serving that it was two spoonfuls (and tasted like it came from a can) with the added caveat that someone had just dumped what seemed like a big handful of dried basil over it. It was nasty. The main course was a vealed squid cutlet which had definitely not been prepared by a human cook. It was something you buy pre-vealed and frozen. I think the cook at this place uses the microwave more than the griddle.
  What the hell happened to this place?
  I threw most of it out. My dog and cat wouldn't touch any of it either, and my dog will eat animal feces if he comes across them.
  Disgusting food. Maybe the steaks are better but sure as hell not what I ordered. I am livid. If I pay almost thirty dollars then I shouldn't be tricked into eating premade food. DAMMIT!
  
  Perkos makes this place seem like a roach coach special. You know what I mean.

  Generally decent steak. Atmosphere very old time. I was not particularly impressed but for the price it was okay. No need for reservations. Service was excellent. Parking was easy and there is outdoor seating when the weather is good.
